Mission Reports: Shrine Pass Lexus

Sunday May 1st a team went up Shrine Pass to recover this Lexus that sunk into the snow on Shrine Pass.

It took quite a lengthy amount of winch rope to reach the vehicle from an area that was still safe for vehicles to be at, but rest assured, Shrine Pass itself is NOT open yet to the Red Cliff side of the mountain for non-tracked vehicles.

The team got on scene about 5 PM and began setting up the pull with multiple winch extensions. The vehicle was recovered about 6:15 PM and everyone began making their way back out to I70 with the last responder home just before 9 PM.
