Mission Reports: Mount Antero Broken Axle

A team spent the night outside of Buena Vista above tree line helping a jeep with a broken C-clip on Mount Antero!

This call came in late afternoon on the 26th, and given the conditions on the mountain, needed to be recovered quickly with temps near freezing overnight.

The team arrived at the vehicle just before 11:30 last night and had the vehicle moving under its own power by 1 AM this morning.

everyone was off the trail about 3:30 this morning and headed home by 4:15.the last responder reached their driveway and a well deserved bed just before 9 AM today!
