Mission Reports: Miners Gulch 4Runner
On July 21st a Team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery went up Miner’s Gulch to assist a 4Runner that was hung up on the rocks.
Once on scene shortly after 11 PM they used a hi-lift jack to clear the rocks, stack wood, more rocks, and use traction boards to navigate the vehicle down and off the trail.
While a relatively “simple” operation per say (no winching involved etc), it was still very time consuming in the dark to safely get down that trail.
After all the gear was put away and the responders headed home, the last person checked out at 1:30 AM on the 22nd.
