Mission Reports: Empire and Kremmling
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery has seen an uptick in snow recoveries in the high country. These two missions were located near Empire and Kremmling with ice and snow on the trails.
Both relatively simple operations to pull the vehicles back onto the road, or backwards where there was better traction. But keep in mind, we could be hours away by the time the team reaches you!
Temperatures have been near single digits in the mountains. Travel prepared, have extra food, water, warm clothing, even spare fuel if you can. If you don’t have a winch on your vehicle, tire chains can prevent you from getting stuck, or once you do get stuck and put them on, likely get you out of the sticky (or slick) situation you are in.
