Mission Reports: Destroyed ATV

Saturday July 31st a team from Colorado 4×4 Rescue and Recovery went up Hamlin Gulch to recover an ATV that went off the side of the road. There was a significant debris field along the mountain side that had to be cleaned up while recovering this ATV for the owner.

There were injuries sustained with this accident, though everyone was okay. Just pretty banged up from it.

The team began mobilizing around noon and recovery operations began about 1:30 PM. The ATV was back at the top of the hill by 4:30 PM where efforts to drag it down to a waiting trailer began.

Everyone was packed up and on pavement headed home by approximately 7 PM that evening.
